The method

The method is based on the four key areas within which wolves live;
Separation
Perceived danger
Feeding
The hunt (walk).

I train you to take charge of these areas, establishing yourself as the pack leader and show you how to commnicate this to your dog. This in turn releases your dog of his/her responsibilities and relieves their anxieties. 

The method does not involve you going out to training classes and can be carried out in the comfort of your own home at a pace suitable to you and your dog's circumstances. This will need your committment and will take time, but the rewards for you, your family and your pet will be enormous and ongoing. 

If you are new to the world of Dog Listening, the book The Dog Listener, by Jan Fennell, or DVD of the same title, are a perfect introduction. The DVD will provide you with a clear and simple understanding of the methods involved, and is included in the cost of the consultation.
